- Opt for Aadhaar Based Authentication during OTR for smoother processing (optional but recommended)
- Login with OTR credentials and click on “Apply” for CGL 2026 under “Current Openings”
- Fill the online application form carefully – photograph is captured live via webcam/phone camera during application (no pre-existing photo needed)
- Upload scanned signature (JPEG/JPG, 10–20 KB, 6 cm × 2 cm)
- Select three examination centre preferences within the same SSC Region
- Pay the application fee online (₹100 for applicable candidates; Free for Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM):

Important Instructions/General Conditions
- Vacancies are tentative (~12,256); final post-wise and category-wise breakup will be published on the SSC website

- EWS candidates must have an Income & Asset Certificate valid for FY 2026-27 based on FY 2025-26 income
- Once OTR is completed on the new website (ssc.gov.in), it remains valid for all future examinations on the new site
