Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the RRB NTPC Graduate posts must possess the a Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent on or before the closing date of the online application. Candidates who are waiting for the results of their final examination of the prescribed qualification are not eligible to apply. Candidates should make sure that their required qualification is already available by 6 November 2026, the closing date of the application.

RRB NTPC Graduate Selection Process 2026
The selection process for CEN 06/2026 consists of:
- 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
- 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
An important change in this notification is that the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) has been dispensed with for the posts of Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist and Senior Clerk Cum Typist under CEN 06/2026.

1st Stage CBT
The 1st Stage CBT is common for all notified posts.

For eligible PwBD/PwD candidates using a scribe, the duration is 120 minutes.
There will be 1/3 mark negative marking for every wrong answer. The 1st Stage CBT is primarily a screening examination and normalized marks will be used for shortlisting candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT.
2nd Stage CBT
Candidates will be shortlisted for the 2nd Stage CBT based on their normalized 1st Stage CBT marks.
Normally, candidates will be shortlisted at 15 times the community-wise vacancies of posts notified against the respective RRB, subject to the provisions in the notification.
