Kerala Tourism Recruitment 2025: Educational Qualifications & Experience
1. Food & Beverage Service Staff
- Qualification:
- Pre-Degree/10+2 pass, and
- One-year Food & Beverage Craft Certificate from Kerala Govt. Food Craft Institute OR
- One-year Diploma in Food & Beverage Service from Institute of Hotel Management under Ministry of Tourism.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as Waiter/Butler/Captain in a hotel of 2-star or above classification.
2. Housekeeping Staff
- Qualification:
- SSLC or equivalent, and
- Craft Certificate in Hotel Accommodation Operation from Kerala Govt. Food Craft Institute OR
- One-year Diploma/PG Diploma in Hotel Accommodation from Institute of Hotel Management under Ministry of Tourism.
- Experience:
- Minimum 6 months in Housekeeping in a hotel of 2-star or above classification.
3. Cook
- Qualification:
- SSLC or equivalent, and
- Craft Certificate in Food Production from Kerala Govt. Food Craft Institute OR
- One-year Diploma in Cookery/Food Production from Institute of Hotel Management under Ministry of Tourism.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as Cook/Assistant Cook in a hotel of 2-star or above classification.
4. Assistant Cook
- Qualification:
- SSLC or equivalent, and
- Craft Certificate in Food Production from Kerala Govt. Food Craft Institute.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year as Cook/Assistant Cook in a hotel of 2-star or above classification.
5. Receptionist
- Qualification:
- Pre-Degree/10+2 pass, and
- Craft Certificate in Front Office Operation from Kerala Govt. Food Craft Institute.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as Front Office Assistant/Receptionist in a hotel of 2-star or above classification.
6. Kitchen Matey
- Qualification:
- SSLC or equivalent, and
- Craft Certificate in Food Production from Kerala Govt. Food Craft Institute.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year as Cook/Assistant Cook in a hotel of 2-star or above classification.
