CRPF Constable Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria/Educational Qualification
1. Constable (Driver)
- Educational: Minimum Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized Board/University
- Technical: Must hold a valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Driving License and pass driving test at recruitment
2. Constable (Motor Mechanic Vehicle)
- Educational: Minimum 10th Class pass in 10+2 system from recognized board
- Technical (Any one of the following):
- 2-year ITI Certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle (recognized by National/State Council for Vocational Training) + 1 year practical experience
- National/State Apprenticeship Certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle (3-year duration) + 1 year practical experience
3. Constable (All Other Tradesmen – Cook, Bugler, Tailor, Cobbler, Carpenter, Barber, Painter, Brass Band, Pipe Band, Water Carrier, Washerman, Safai Karmachari, Mali)
- Educational: Minimum Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board/University (or equivalent Army qualification for Ex-Army Personnel)
- Technical: Must be proficient and have worked in the respective trade
