- Hands-on experience in Precision Machining, multi-axes CNC machines, CAD/CAM/CAE, GD&T, Welding, Manufacturing Process Planning, Jigs & Fixture Designing, Quality Control (CMM)
Desirable:
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in above criteria

Important Instructions – TIFR Recruitment 2026
- All posts are located at TIFR, Colaba, Mumbai; selected candidates may be transferred to other TIFR Centers/Field Stations.
- Posts Sr. No. 1–5 are initially for 3 years (including 1-year probation); continuation is subject to performance review. Superannuation age is 60 years.
- Posts Sr. No. 6–9 are purely temporary with no claim for permanent/temporary appointment.
- Selected candidates must be available to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as required.
- Library Trainee (Post 7) candidates must work shifts between 07:45 hrs to 21:00 hrs.
