| Qualification: 12th Pass with 50% marks or equal grade. For House evictee candidates only pass mark is required. Desirable Qualification: Basic Training Certificate/equivalent certificate based on ICAO syllabus in Airport Fire Fighting. Driving License: Valid Light Motor Vehicle License. Note: Candidates should able to obtain HMV License within one year of appointment. |
Kannur Airport Jobs 2025: Physical & Medical Standards
- Height: ≥ 167 cm (165 cm for evictees; females ≥ 162 cm)
- Chest (Men): 81 cm normal with ≥ 5 cm expansion
- Weight: ≥ 55 kg (≥ 45 kg for females)
- Vision: 6/6 distance; N‑5 near, no color defects (per Ishihara)
- Hearing & Speech: Normal
- Disqualifications: Physical deformity, chronic diseases, colour blindness, night blindness, squint eye, flat foot, bow legs, knocking knee and refractive error will be considered as disqualification. Must not have undergone major operation by virtue of which his physical fitness to work in fire service has been impaired. Should be capable of undergoing physical strain for prolonged periods.
Kannur Airport Jobs 2025: Selection Process
Selection process will be based on Written test, Physical test, Skill test and Interview. If the number of eligible candidates is more than 100 Nos., a written test will be conducted for shortlisting candidates for the Physical test. Written test may be exempted for candidates with BTC/equivalent qualifications. Qualifying mark in written test will be 50% of maximum mark for all candidates other than candidates from house evictee category.
