- Mechanical: First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 years)
- Electronics: First Class Diploma in Electronics Engineering (3 years)
2. Sub Officer – Level 6
- B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) + Sub Officer’s Certificate
- OR Leading Fireman/DCO with 6 years’ experience + Sub Officer’s Certificate
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence
- Must meet prescribed physical fitness and PET standards
3. Technician ‘B’ (Turner / Fitter / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic) – Level 3
- SSLC/SSC pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in relevant trade from NCVT
4. Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’ – Level 2
- SSLC/SSC pass
- 5 years’ experience (minimum 3 years as HVD) + HVD licence + Public Service Badge (if required)
5. Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’ – Level 2
- SSLC/SSC pass
- 3 years’ experience as LVD + valid LVD licence
