Indian Army NCC Special Entry 2026: Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
✔ For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders
- Degree from a recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
- Final year students can also apply (subject to conditions).
- Must possess NCC ‘C’ Certificate with minimum ‘B’ Grade.
✔ For Wards of Battle Casualties
- Degree with minimum 50% marks.
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate NOT mandatory for Wards category.

Indian Army NCC Special Entry 2026: Selection Process
The selection will be conducted as per the following stages:
- Shortlisting of Applications
- SSB Interview

🔹 Shortlisting for SSB
Applications will be shortlisted out of 100 marks:
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate – 50 Marks
- ‘A’ Grade – 50 Marks
- ‘B’ Grade – 25 Marks
- Graduation Percentage – 50 Marks
Shortlisting for SSB is expected in the first week of May 2026.
🔹 SSB Interview
Shortlisted candidates will attend a 5-day SSB Interview at Selection Centres in Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar during May/June 2026.
The SSB has Stage I and Stage II. Candidates who fail Stage I will be sent back the same day.
🔹 Medical & Merit List
Candidates recommended by SSB will undergo a medical examination.
The final merit list is prepared based on SSB marks.
Selected candidates will receive joining letters for OTA Chennai.
There is NO written examination for NCC Special Entry.
