Kerala High Court Confidential Assistant Qualification

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in any subject awarded or recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala.
2. K.G.T.E. (Higher) in Typewriting (English) and K.G.TE (IIigher) in Shorthand (English ) or equivalent quancation.
   Desirable: Certi.ficate in Computer Word Processing or equivalent.

Kerala High Court Confidential Assistant Age Limit

• Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST):
  Eligible if born between 02/01/1984 and 01/01/2007 (both dates inclusive).
• Other Backward Classes (OBC):
  Eligible if born between 02/01/1986 and 01/01/2007 (both dates inclusive).
• Ex-Servicemen / Ex-GREF / Disembodied Territorial Army Personnel:
  • Can exclude their service period and up to 5 years of unemployment after discharge when calculating age.
  • Maximum age limit: 50 years.
• Persons with Disabilities:
  • Blind and deaf-mute candidates: Up to 15 years age relaxation.
  • Other disabilities: Up to 10 years age relaxation.
  • In all cases, age must not exceed 50 years.
• Widows:
  • Age relaxation up to 5 years.
  • Maximum age limit: 50 years.

Kerala High Court Confidential Assistant : Mode Of Selection

• Selection Process: Based on Dictation Test (100 marks) and Interview (10 marks).
• Candidates must score at least 50% in both to qualify.
• Dictation Test:
  • Passage (about 1100–1200 words, preferably a judgment) dictated for 10 minutes at 100–120 wpm.
  • Candidates must transcribe on a computer within 2.5 hours.
• No scribe or extra time will be given to differently abled candidates, as the test assesses individual skill.
• Test and interview are common for Recruitment Nos. 05/2025 and 06/2025.

   • Keep scanned copies of passport-size photo, signature, and qualification documents ready.
   • Ensure photo has a clear face and shoulders, with a white/light background.
2. Filling Profile:
   • Log in and go to “My Profile”.
   • Enter all required personal and educational details.
3. Upload Documents:
   • Upload self-attested copies of:
     • Degree certificate
     • K.G.T.E. (Higher) Typewriting & Shorthand (English) certificates or equivalent
     • Government Order for equivalency (if applicable)
   • Documents must be clear and legible. Review before submitting — no re-upload allowed.
4. Submit Application:
   • After uploading, click “Apply Now”.
   • Preview and confirm details. No editing allowed after submission.
5. Pay Application Fee (if applicable):
   • Use online or offline (challan) payment methods.
   • Ensure payment is successful.
   • Keep the paid challan copy for reference.
   • Demand Drafts, Cheques, Money/Postal Orders are not accepted.
   • Fee is non-refundable.
6. After Submission:
   • Save a copy of your application (soft or hard copy).
   • Do not send any documents or printouts to the High Court.
